Village Clerk

The Village Clerk/Treasurer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and transparent operation of our local government. This position combines responsibilities related to recordkeeping, financial management, and public service. The Clerk/Treasurer manages and preserves all official village records and documents, prepares agendas and minutes for Village Board meetings, and administers local elections in compliance with state law.

Additionally, this office issues licenses and permits in accordance with village ordinances, handles all aspects of financial operations—including budgeting, payroll, and managing accounts—and is responsible for collecting taxes and other municipal revenues. As a key point of contact between the public and village government, the Clerk/Treasurer is dedicated to accuracy, accessibility, and providing courteous, helpful service to residents, businesses, and visitors alike.

Notary Public

A Notary Public is available at the Village of Caledonia during regular office hours: Proper identification is required for all notarizations. Please do not sign any documents in advance, as they must be signed in the presence of the Notary. We’re happy to offer this service to our residents and community members.
